I really love this cover as it is somewhat soft and flexible. I would say it is more of a dark gray than black though. The clear film cover is very cheap though, it got all scratched up with me just putting it on. It had 2 instruction stickers on the protector that didn’t peel off so there is that gummy residue left behind so I would suggest getting a good protector such as invisishield.
